The client: 

Allergy & Asthma Care is a Brooklyn-based, women- and black-owned clinics that has been providing comprehensive allergy and asthma treatments for 20 years.

The challenge: 

Redesign the brand to reflect modern healthcare aesthetics while ensuring consistency across digital, print, and in-clinic materials. This included brand management to strengthen recognition and create a welcoming, patient-centered identity.

Additionally, launch a new allergy product while retaining the clinic’s signature pink to ensure brand recognition among established patients.

The solution: 

Retain the pink color scheme as a foundational element and incorporate droplet, circular shapes into the overall design. Use pink as an accent color rather than the primary color, given the brand's gender-neutral positioning, and integrate complementary shades of grey and purple burgundy. Simplify the logo to enhance versatility and readability across various platforms. Update all existing imagery & assets to ensure brand consistency across social media, website, print materials, and in-office. Emphasize diverse people photography to reflect the inclusive and people-centric nature of the product.

To ensure the new branding language is consistently communicated across all platforms and effectively reached the target audience, several key strategies were implemented, including:

Developed custom window decals that showcased the clinic’s unique value propositions, such as Harvard-trained expertise, over 20 years in business, and its identity as a women- and Black-owned business. It helped attract local customers and build trust within the community by clearly communicating the clinic's market differentiators.


communicate clearly

Created the new product web page and a simple and engaging flyer to replace the long 15-page print files previously given to new patients, which were often ignored. Using straightforward, interactive language, the complex and market-new product was explained by: highlighting key statistics to showcase its benefits, addressing common questions, adding an infographic treatment timeline, and introducing a new pricing scheme with affordable options. These updates reduced staff time spent with new patients and serves as a guide for the team and current patients as well.

Updated the website, social media platforms, and other key touchpoints (such as Google, LinkedIn, internal documentation) according to the new brand guidelines and professional photography, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all channels.


meet the team

Set up social media and YouTube channels to showcase the clinic’s services and promote healthcare providers through educational videos and answers to common questions. The content is displayed in patient rooms, patient waiting area, and used for social media promotion. Establishing a strong online presence and featuring specific doctors is crucial for small healthcare businesses, as patients often seek out particular providers.
